AECOM
is actively seeking a responsive, organized, and detail-orientated Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Process Coordinator for immediate employment to facilitate, and at times execute, key SH&E processes for AECOMs Americas operations. This remote/virtual position reports to the SH&E Corporate Director and can be located near any major AECOM office in the United States.

Job Summary:
As a member of a dynamic team of SH&E Managers, Specialists, and Administrators, the SH&E Program Coordinator works with various internal and external personnel to coordinate and execute SH&E processes supporting AECOM operations throughout the Americas. AECOM personnel include, but are not limited to, AECOM nurses, Human Resources partners, new candidates, existing employees, hiring/people managers, SH&E Managers, and others. SH&E Process Coordinator will also work with external organizations such as third-party administrators (TPAs) of drug and alcohol screening, safety councils, and third-party training agencies. The SH&E Program Coordinator must be able to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and challenges while employing existing processes, thereby assisting AECOM operations in successfully delivering safe and healthy work. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Accurately identify through consultation the necessary processes to meet AECOM and client requirements. Requirements may include, but are not limited to:
Employee related: Training, background check, annual physical, motor vehicle report (MVR) monitoring, drug and alcohol screening, etc.
SH&E management system related: Document management
Coordinate appropriate resources to facilitate, and as applicable, execute key SH&E processes in an effective, efficient, respectful, and timely manner
Monitor processes for completion and, as applicable, communicate outcomes to the designated parties
Maintain confidentiality and appropriately manage sensitive data and documentation
Train and coach others in execution of processes as applicable
Maintain internal and external databases applicable to the related SH&E processes
Engage in compliance assurance activities (e.g., internal audit or third-party audit of process execution)
Generate reporting applicable to the SH&E process and supply to the appropriate stakeholders
Collaborate to assess, revise, and develop SH&E policies, procedures and processes
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or related degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience in SH&E and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating and/or executing processes associated with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements, such as:
Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Program
Federal Railroad Administration Covered Worker Program
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration Covered Worker Program
Experience coordinating and/or executing client site pre-access activities, such as:
Drug and alcohol screening
Background checks
Training
Health screening/surveillance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to work independently, problem solve, adhere to policy and process, and identify when consultation or escalation is necessary
Experience working collectively and cross-functionally with applicable stakeholders to develop, refine, and execute processes.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and form trusted relationships with AECOM colleagues and third-party representatives
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment, prioritize appropriately, and be highly responsive
Capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet identified deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain business etiquette through emails, telephone conversations and in meeting environments

Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $68,178 - $93,000
