Overview: The Health, Safety andnEnvironmental Manager (EHS), Gulf Sub-Region will implement and manage EHSnpolicies, plans, procedures and processes to ensure the effective management ofnhazard identification, assessment of risk and implementation of controls. Responsibilities:n Develop, implement and managen EHS policies, plans, procedures and processes to ensure the effectiven management of hazard identification, assessment of risk and implementationn of controlsn Conduct EHS-related compliancen audits, inspections, and assessments of company and client job sites andn workplaces across the business and ensure that the region is compliantn with EHS-related regulatory affairs, company standards, and clientn requirementsn Assist and coach supervisorsn with performing root cause analysis of EHS incidents, assist in casen management of reported injuries and in the development of effectiven corrective actions.n Represent the Company atn customer meetings and conferences regarding EHS issues.n Manage and report EHSn information and incident statistics in line with Company and legislativen requirementsn Visit Repair Centers and Fieldn Sites to conduct behavioral audits of personnel and promote a Zero Harmn safety culture by motivating others, modeling the right example,n intervening, engaging in discussion and convincing othersn Audit, measure and ensure then effective implementation of the EHS Management System and assist in then planning for EHS continual improvement to achieve objectives and targetsn Assist project managers in preparation of comprehensive project/job EHSn Plansn Serve as the EHS contact forn both Field Services and Repair Centers located in the assigned Sub-Regionn Develop and facilitaten training, safety meeting topics and safety notices for employees on issuesn related to health, safety, and environmental compliance. Assistn supervisors with performing root cause analysis of all EHS incidents andn assist in case management of reported injuriesn Coordinate/facilitate monthlyn EHS-related meetings with areas of responsibilityn Provide support for the EHSn systemsn Manage EHS Field Safetyn Supervisorsn Requirements:     n Bachelor’s Degree inn Environmental, Health, and Science or similar fieldn A minimum of 5 years relevantn experience within a field service/engineering, machine shopn environment  and refinery/chemical plant environmentn Demonstrated knowledge ofn Health and Safety legislation and its implementationn Possess excellentn organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and be able ton work well under pressure ensuring that work related activities aren completed in an accurate and timely mannern Ability to travel up to 40% ofn time (domestic)n Work with minimum ofn supervisionn Excellent written and verbaln communication skillsn Ability to promote best practicen on EHS management to achieve compliance within all areas of the businessn Ability to maintain high leveln of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and informationn Provide clear, practical advicen and guidance for management and staffn Strong & influentialn communicator and possess the ability to interact effectively withn individuals at all levelsn Must be competent in Microsoftn Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)n Demonstrated proficiency andn confident in delivering EHS power point presentations n  Preferences:n  CSP, ASP or othern recognized safety certificationn Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in thenUnited States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now ornin the future for employment.Siemens Gas and Powern(GP) is a globalnpacesetter in energy, helping customers to meet the evolving demands of today’snindustries and societies.
